Frontpage sort (and filter) options leave much to be desired.

1. One complaint I've had for a while is that the frontpage doesn't allow me to sort deals by the date/time posted.

I can't be the only one who wants to see only the deals I haven't seen before (since my last page load, sorted by the date the deal was first posted, most recent first).

I have no clue how it is currently sorted, and I don't really care as long as I'm provided an option to sort it as I want.

Actually, I can't imagine why nobody has decided it would be a good idea to give more users more control to filter and sort the deal posts. (eg. Filter by Frontpage, Popular, New, Personalized, various Categories, etc).

2. Also, it would be very very helpful to have the date/time that I last loaded the page (ie. saw the deals) be tracked while I'm logged in, no matter which device I view the page from.

3. Finally, the fact that the "NEW" label is not currently working anymore is a significant bummer.

I almost always use a web browser on a desktop (Chrome or Firefox, on MacOS or Windows)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure what the plans are for the future for sorting and filtering on the frontpage, and I do personally like your suggestions, but I just wanted to mention how the frontpage is currently sorted, so that it hopefully makes a little more sense. The FP is currently sorted newest to oldest, by the time the thread was moved to the Frontpage. There are other circumstances that may impact the display order, like personalized or promoted deals, or if a deal is moved to the frontpage more than once. If you sort of ignore those additional tiles that are interspersed, I think the current sort order is basically what you are asking for, though I do realize you are asking for more control over the entire thing.

Yes, I really want more control, primarily to not have to see any post more than once. If I've seen it in the feed, I don't ever want to see it again. I think that's what the "NEW" label helps with, so I'm very frustrated that this is not currently working in List or Simple view (I don't like the grid view -- visually it's not conducive to long lists for me).

Secondarily, I'd love to have more control over which posts I'm seeing (ie. to separate posts flagged with different parameters).
