For 8" plates, this is a very typical price for almost any brand. Not a deal.

Unless these are wildly different in some way, Walmart has them .05/plate for 100 count and up. I agree though, this is on par with every other major retailer.

I use these plates alongside Dixie and Walmart's Great Value brand. None of the three ever had ink coming off in the microwave heated up or soaked through. That's been my experience for years now.

I have seen Ink coming off "snack" plates meant for cold or dry food only. You typically find these at dollar stores or novelty supply shops. Most of them don't add a disclaimer to use with cold or dry food only. Some of them are called "cake" plates and are usually brightly colored or have a novelty design.

What do you mean by "typical"? 100 ct. 8.5 in. Dixie plates are $6.28 and GV are $5.58 at Walmart.

Dixie is name brand commercial, you're comparing 2 different channels. Amazon Basics = Great Value = Boulder, etc and so on for each store brand in this comparison.
