Makes more sense at 350-400$. Right now it's silly for this price.

By the way the i3 does NOT beat the last gen i5 lol. Passmark score is 3-4000 more for the last gen i5. Second of all the i3 is a 4 core cpu and the i5 is a 6 core. Thirdly. The 12th gen is the last good generation cpu intel made before the degradation fiasco took place and the fear of CPUs potentially dying which 13/14th gen can have that happen to.

Intel definitely made some bad decisions regarding the issues with their 13th and 14th Gen processors. However, this i3 CPU is not affected by that fault, and for the models that are affected, the CPU microcode updates Intel released last year do fully resolve the issue as long as the CPU is not already degraded from use.
