Correct me if im wrong but wasnt twenty bucks the original 1980's price when it first come out back then? I'd give my left acorn for a jetfire reissue for that price.

I was just about to write this. This was the price back in the 80s, and my grandmother complained the whole time while buying it about how expensive it was...

Yeah, twenty bucks was kinda alot back then for a toy. Five bucks was the average for a action figure like GIJOE. I remember looking at omega supreme for a hundred and other toy line action sets for that and my mind being blown at the price. I tell ya, if I had seen that new transforming optimus for a thousand back then as a kid I would have needed a hospital. LOL!

I bought the original Sound Blaster toy from Walmart, but I didn't realize how cheap it looks and how limited its movement is. It's really just for nostalgia. If only I had the money, those G1 Masterpiece figures are insanely pricey but absolutely amazing. 😭

I know some of those 2000 or so reissues used cheaper plastic and outright lack the diecast

It's pretty decent. The play button actually depresses and it clicks back up when you press the other buttons. Nice little detail. Worth the $20
