decent deal not as good as the powerspec deal a couple weeks ago
Which one? Not seeing anything on Slickdeals?
EDIT: That was only due to the Santa Clara grand opening. That kinda deal won't exist anymore.

How does this compare to the one available at Costco?

MSI Aegis ZS2 Gaming Desktop
AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X (12-core)
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5080 16GB
2TB NVME SSD
Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3
360mm Liquid Cooling

https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-...55760.html

Is there significant differences in motherboards for these two models?
Looks like Costco has some unique MB - MSI PRO B650-VC III
Any idea what MB this desktop uses?

Depends what your use case is. If you are gaming the 9800x3d would perform better longterm and is better match with a 5080 in gaming workloads.

If you are doing more workstation type workloads or doing prosumer editing or rendering workloads you may see more value in 9900x.

So it really boils down to what you intend to use it for.

FYI Cyberpowerpc accepts returns but you have to pay return shipping. B&H does not accept returns on new desktops that the box has been opened.

Don't compare to places that requires local pickup most of the time...

Never buy a case from any build co. that wont show you the back of it! this case sucks- no air flow in the back .

From my experience with CyberPower I would recommend doing your research on Better Business Bureau before placing any orders:
I purchased from CyberPower. The build quality was not that great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help.
I would not recommend CyberPower

Not sure how long ago you made your purchase, but I've bought 3 prebuilts with customized options. Most recently was this build with a different case and extra fans. Build quality has been great. My previous model my son has now and it's a 3060 build and no issues whatsoever. It even survived a power surge from the Texas freeze in 2019. Just sharing my experiences

It's says it comes with wifi 6. I've seen ones with wifi 7 motherboard for around the same price. I also couldn't find the mobo brand after a quick skim, steering away asrock with 9800x3d burning out on them even though they claim bios update fixed the issue.
