Is this like the Sandlot glove that busts apart the first time Smalls catches a ball?

No, Smalls's glove was much more durable.

I bought one of these just to get a cheap glove to play catch with my kids. Haven't had any issues using it for that. If I was actually going to play I'd want something better but it's cheap and worked well for my needs.

This is good until your kid can throw the ball about 40mph. Mine didn't hold up well. Kid busted it with a hard throw. Its cheap and if your working with like an 8 year old its fine.

Thanks! He is a natural athlete and loves all sports. He is having a tough time deciding but he is only seven.

He is a top notch pitcher with great form from the get. Can't wait to see him play in a month or so.
