I'm probably wasting my time here but here goes:

The LARGER the tv, the HIGHER quality you need to purchase because flaws in motion, color, and upscaling will be magnified!

It's a good and decent TV. I have been using a used one since 4 years with no issues.
They had one in a rental I stayed in. Is this one slow to change channels, raise volume, and start up?

Did you turn on the TV, change the channels, raise the volume while at your rental? If so, let us know.

I have a Fire TV and I hate the Fire TV OS so much. Hate it. It is the most ridiculously slow and unresponsive UI I have ever seen in a smart TV. By a mile. Even just turning it on to switch to an input with a better streamer hooked up (Roku, AppleTV) is a pain in the ass. It won't default to last input - it forces you to view its stupid ads every start up. Not worth it.

Really loved our Insignia TV until my kid threw a Wiimote into it and broke it.

However, the replacement was a Fire TV and I absolutely hate it. The UI is terrible. It's a pain to configure, and it's not nearly as smart as our Roku TV or the older Insignia it replaced. For example, it won't mute/unmute the receiver (and took forever to even get it to do volume and on/off).
I hate Roku because of the never-ending ads and attempts to push their shitty apps on me, but I will say that their live TV pausing is awesome. No idea if other OSes do this or not, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Roku TV for this feature alone.

I wouldn't use a Roku streaming device if you paid me to use it, though. I absolutely refuse to use anything but SmartTube. Anecdotally (not just me, either), Roku devices display more ads in their apps than the same app on an Android streamer.

You think it's better to use this with the new fire stick 4k max, or use the built in fire interface? We have a 6E router
