No mention of thickness. Total weight of 14lb (including glass lids) seems to be light weight

Crazy good deal, especially with the glass lids.

I guess we'll see if that's what comes in the box next week....

It's been my experience that tri-ply clad is the way to go with stainless steel!

How is Chinese stainless steel? Only have Tramontina but this is a good price point.

Glass lids, handles come loose in very short time. I have enamel version of these pans. Had to carefully pien the rivets with hammer to get them secure again. Tricky to do with glass lids.

I keep the Cuisinart glass lids that fit my All-clad pans. They've got to be 20 years old by now.

No loose handles yet, but if I ever get one, I'll use stainless screws; rather than peening metal over glass.

Have the same or similar set I bought from Costco for about five years. Everything works and is still in great condition. Heavy to me. In fact too heavy, so that when I make soup, boil potatoes, corn, etc., I choose a lighter pot. Other than being heavy, it is well made. It looks like these are newer sets, mine did not have the cups and liters printed in the pot.

I really wish Cuisinart sold the glass lids by themselves. I have a whole set of both Cuisinart and Wolfgang Puck, but lost the lids when we moved. can't find glass lids by themselves anywhere.
