That was a price mistake, so it doesn't really count.

Backup your house for a month? I doubt this would power my house for more than a couple of hours during the summer.
In the notes section:
Scalable capacity up to a colossal 90 kWh, sufficient for 1-month home backup
So "one month **only** if you scale it up to 90kwh total by buying several more units" is how I interpret it.
If you in had 90kwh, it would probably be sufficient to run fridges, fans and maybe an A/C unit for a month in the summer. You would definitely have to cut back energy usage, which is probably true for most generators too.

Man if this or the Anker just allowed you to use third party batteries they would be bigger sellers than they are now. I can literally put together a 30kWh battery bank for under $5K, while the same thing from their priority batteries would cost me $15K if not more.............
home depot was recently selling dpu expansion batteries for around $1,500. so, five batteries, which totals 30.7 kwh, is around $7,500, nowhere close to $15k.

Its $2400 for one 6kWh battery, so doubtful unless it was a price mistake and they didnt honor it. For $2400 I can get 15kWh to 18kWh server rack batteries.

They were most definitely being sold by Home Depot for $1599 as recently as this past April. The batteries are routinely offered for sale around the ~$2k mark (sometimes under $2k ea. for a pair) --- search SD for recent examples. There is no reason to pay $2400 for an extra battery IF you have just a little bit of patience.

That is still double the cost of a server rack battery that can go as low as $750-850 for over 5kWh.

Hence why I am saying that if one of these companies opened their products up to other batteries they would be even more popular.

If you could theoretically power your house with this, and recharge it with solar panels, then it could work indefinitely, could it not? Why limit it to a month? That can't be what they mean.
What are you running that will eat up 90khw in a few hours?
