Great gloves but you'll probably have to go a size up. I'm a large and X large fits better.

Just a weekend DIYer that sometimes does car stuff. Any reason why I wouldn't be better off just grabbing a box of 6-8mm disposable nitrile gloves for less than $10?

I imagine these are easier to take on/off. Also machine washable if that matters.

Currently I'm layering nitrile gloves over these these. Which I don't recommended doing because the rubber glove gets caught on that CRAFTSMEN logo, making it annoying.

I use mechanic gloves for garden work and other general stuff. they tend to breath better and are better fitting. Typically I just get the harbor freight one when they have one of the under $10 sale going on and I go through about a pair or two each year.

I've worn a pair of these for five days splitting wood in hot weather. They're comfortable, protective and show no signs of wear. Very pleased. Size L is about right.
