The audio quality is a tad better than my shokz openrun pro 2, but I would pay retail for the Pro 2's over this sale price any day of the week for comfort and battery life. I don't wear earings, but I couldn't get use to these on my ears and if I wanted to itch my ear (weird I know lol), I'd have to take these off completely and put them back on again.

And the audio quality is bad.
Anyway - if you want to find harder to kill workout headphones I'd recommend wired ones with a USB-C to stereo adapter. Went this direction after killing 5 wireless headphones so far this year with sweat. They seem to be holding out.

I'd recommend if you prioritize comfort, fit, and open earbuds design over sound quality.
The pros - they are impossibly light and comfortable. Sometime I forget I'm wearing them, leaving them on for hours until I scratch my ear and notice. I can easily hear everyone around me and there is no ear fatigue. Battery life is good. Super tactile physical buttons are the best I've ever used.
The cons - sound quality is poor compared to any other headphones I own. Significantly worse than even the most basic AirPods. Fine for audiobooks, podcasts, etc. Ok for music and videos.
No connection issues, ever, and no call quality issues mentioned. Perhaps the reported issues were with older firmware versions.
If something is reviewed that many times by the general public with a rating below 4.5, at that point it's not a good product.

Having said that I bought both pairs for total $300 new off ebay. I use them 2-4 times a day, almost exclusively when walking the dog so I can hear what is going on.
Haven't had any issues since deleting the Bose APP, but had a litany of issues WITH the APP installed. No one has complained about the call quality. Obviously, not much bass, some things don't sound great in them, but that is the nature of the type of earbud.
