The American Heart Association recommends that adults consume no more than 1,500 mg of sodium per day. That two bite burgie is over half the salt you should have in a 24 hour period.
It might be "free", but it's still going to cost you.

Most Americans cant go below 1500. Salt is one thing people like to add to food.

Yup. They're addicted. Try to make food without the extra salt. They whine about it lacking flavor. As the kids might say: "Out of all flavors, why salt?" They're so addicted to it, they don't know what actual food tastes like.
And it's insidious -- you can add a LOT of salt during the cooking process without it becoming unpalatable. So a two-bite fast food heart-attack burgie like this can have upwards of a gram of salt....before factoring in fries, other entrees, etc. I genuinely doubt someone is simply eating just one of these as their entire meal.
For comparison, a whopper has FOUR GRAMS of salt. Be still my beating heart....no wait, please keep thumping!
