#1 - people do care about the way their tools look whether they want to admit it or not and #2 - USA made 9" Linesman pliers for only $23 is a very good price. Chinese made Crescent and Irwin 9'ers are going for $20.

Does the limited lifetime warranty mean you can exchange at Lowe's?

I'm sure they'll be popular but I've sworn off US-made Kleins because their QC is so terrible. Had to check about a half dozen pairs of needlenose pliers at HD before I found a pair that wasn't hopelessly misaligned, and I returned two pairs of poorly-finished linesmans before opting instead for a pair from Knipex. About 80% of my pliers are now Knipex.

I feel like more people would be better served with something like the knipex Forged Wire Stripper or the milwaukee versions if on a budget instead of linemans
Kinda intrigued by the Needle Nose since its one of the few items I have that isnt knipex but I think Ill hold off

I love my Knipex linesman's and I got them for $23 on clearance when Lowe's stopped carrying them

That's terrible and doesn't bode well for American manufacturing.

Don't forget the wire strippers that are also on sale for $15. You might have trouble finding these if you go to the store. They are in a special display that can be anywhere in the store not necessarily where the tools are.

I've received the Klein flush cutters when I've had tools purchased for me at work. Foreman send a request for purchase to the company and usually company buys Klein tools unless we spec something else. I wasn't impressed the Klein flush cutters. I think you're better off buying a cheap set from amazon. The rest of the Klein tools I've received are the high quality you'd expect from Klein.

The small dike cutters are essentiallly what you can get for $7-8 at the hobby shop (though you don't get 'murica on it). For a Klein product, the other two aren't too bad a price at all.

Great, now I will ruin the clipper and disrespect the American flag when I hit a live wire. Way to up the stakes.
