Ideal also makes quality wire strippers. Ideal and Klein make the best quality wire strippers. I'm a commercial electrician for 35+ years.

Klein electrician's tools are top quality, USA made. If you're not a professional you could certainly get by with cheaper ones (Harbor Freight has decent ones, wait for 30% off coupon) but if you want a tool to be proud of, this is a good choice.

Amazon has it for about 75 cents more as well.

It's a different color scheme though.

Is this a good deal? I need a pair and there was another sale last week but I am not sure what is a good pair.

I have used the HF ones, as well as my original T-Strippers from Ideal that I got in the 90s. The HF ones definitely are not as sharp, so you need to rotate the whole thing slightly to get the jacket off of your cables if they are on the thicker side. The latter ones get it done with one snip.

Exactly. Not a pro but I am doing a ton of wiring and I use either my Ideal or Klein. Everything is just easier and quicker with quality tools.

Same work experience for me. I just retired. I prefer the Ideal strippers myself.

Does Lowes do price adjustments? I bought these a month ago but my local store doesn't have them in stock, so I can't do a return swap.

TU, good price on a great pair of strippers.

If it's worth your trouble, order this set (especially if you get free shipping) and return the newest set with your old receipt.

Also want to add, that if you do get free shipping, sometimes you can get an offer for a $10 off $20 coupon if you choose to pickup.

Project Farm rated these very highly. Seems like almost the same model. Anyone know the difference?https://a.co/d/h0rWByz

It appears as though the ones in this deal are designed to strip 8-18 AWG solid and 10-20 AWG stranded wire where the ones you linked can strip wires that are 20-30 AWG solid and 22-32 AWG stranded wire and are 'MERICA themed!
