This one ended up being $84 for me in SoCal. It's only 16" instead of 18", but figured it was worth the savings (hopefully)

They will get the job done but if you have a fair degree of soil compaction, it'll be a pain. You are better off dragging this backwards to get it to till 3-4 inches below surface. Wear gloves, get a helper to manage the cord.

Good price. It works well. May have to do some back and forth but for a reasonable size garden this thing is great.

Yup, the thought of using this machine make me cringe from so many aspects. I would never use it.

But for such easy stuff I just use the tiller attachment for my Echo trimmer, no cord to grind up. If I need to do serious tilling I rent.
