Says 500a start current and 3000a peak current in the product specs on Amazon ..I'm sure all these jumpstarters are all the same as most are just rebranded with a different shell
Wasn't Al the guy who played drums on Jump?

I think the important distinction between this one and the AstroAI 1500 that's gotten a lot more traction on here is that the amps on this one (500) are actually in the realm of a real battery. Not many of the 30+ vehicles I've owned ever had a battery with 300CCA, the AstroAI S8 has 300A and 10,000 mah, while this S8 pro has 12k mah and 500A. These things are still tiny compared to a real battery, and I have no idea if it is capable to starting an actual dead battery...but I'll test it on one of my vehicles that's been sitting for 31 months with no battery tender this week.

2) a 9L gas engine is a GIANT engine. I cant think of a current car/truck with an engine that size, with the largest trucks around 8 liters. That is roughly 4-6 times the displacement of your average honda 4 cylinder. I would strongly doubt the claims about starting power on this.
3) Don't cheap out on safety that can leave you stranded. Just get something else that's proven and actually has real reviews. Check out project farm or car forums, at the minimum look at verified reviews. Don't waste your money.
