No, you can get better results with the RP line. Wait for a sale. Get the rp8000 ii and the rp504c ii and the RP 600m I for near about the same
The R line isn't nearly as good as the RP.
Look through the refurbished catalog on accessories4less and put together a system that works for you. Don't forget to budget for an AVR!
In addition to these speakers you would need to get an AV receiver as well.
