Are those vanguard extension cords just as good as anything you would get from HD? Hurricane season coming up and I could use a few more for the generator

Have an electrician tie into your panel and put a connection on the back of your house. You will not regret it. If your generator only does 110, just turn off your 220 breakers. Even a small suitcase genny runs most of our house.

The transition to LED, assuming you've done that, reduces lighting loads by over 90%. Most other consumer electronics like TV's and PC's, phone chargers, etc, don't use that much power either. I would say most people could run their home off a midsize generator unless they NEED 240V - a well pump or sewage ejector pump are probably the immediate culprits here. Most people could manage not using an electric range, oven or clothes dryer. AC is a somewhat different story as most people in hurricane-prone areas run window AC rather than central AC when the power is out.

The Yukon shelves show $60 currently. How much will they be on the 23rd or is that the price?

Big items like toolboxes etc usually say on the coupon limited to in store stock, or "preorders available", if it says preorders are available then you can buy the item "ship to store" in store for the deal price. That's about as close to a rain check as they get.

Good Choice. I would have bought that Daytona too if I haven't bought the Pittsburgh 3 ton LP a few months back when it was $89.99. The Daytona is better constructed more of the Professional/Everyday use(Local Tire Shops all around me all have Daytonas), but the Pittsburgh is enough for me.

If it's the black plastic ones I bet they go down from 60 bucks by 40% which leaves you at 36 a pop, which is a little less than they typically go for on sale. Not sure of the dimensions but these kinda shelves are usually "like 40 bucks" on sale. I'm probably grabbing a couple.
