Flushable wipes are a lie. For the love of all that is holy do not flush anything more substantial than toilet paper.

How come? These are essentially just thick toilet paper.

Enough with telling people not to flush these. Been flushing them for over 11 years. Not one single issue, NOT ONE! Just because people have bad plumbing and bad toilets, doesn't me you can't flush them. Too many know-it-alls on here. Don't care of you've been a plumber for 20 years either. Always someone trying to be smart online and think they know everything.

Plumber here. If you have 4" pvc drains and sewer line, you should be fine. If you have older cast iron, you should not flush. It's not slick if you have to pay me $150+.

Everytime this comes up I stop in to let everyone know that I have flushed 10's of thousands of these wipes sometimes 2-4 at a time and over the last 15 years nothing, no weakening of flushes, nothing. I put one in a glass of water, and within 20 mins or so they disintegrate.

You speak the truth. If people would look online that for some reason however on earth Cottonelle makes these, these ones actually truly disolve. This leads me to believe they are OK in moderation. I think people say "oh these dont dissolve in the few seconds its in the bowl. Well, if it does end up sitting in the pipe for some reason, then it will eventually break down and all the sewer usage after the fact will likely take it with it.
