Best Buy $750 [bestbuy.com]
Amazon $750 [amazon.com]
I believe this is lowest price since the pre-order special, last year.
NIU sold 200 of them at a special introductory price for $735, almost matching this one.
As a price reference, just any good quality 48V 600+Wh large capacity Li-Ion battery alone cost above $500.
I've had this scooter for more than a year now and has been great fun rides, not a single accident yet.
Still solid as a tank after almost daily use.
Any scooter that run less than 24 is boring slow IMO. Acceleration, stability and range are also fantastic.
This is one of the few scooters that can go fast enough to be fun, yet it manages to remain portable, weighting 49 lbs and it fits in my car's trunk.
The only two major issues with this scooter IMO, is the app being buggy yet you can ride it without it and the other is that it only has one button in the center to control it.
If money is not an issue, Segway G3 is a bit better scooter overall, however it is also a bit heavier, 2.5" longer and $450 more expensive, currently.

Both have their strengths/weakness and there is lots of overlap functionality.
Ebikes are more versatile, relatively safer, have longer range because of pedal assist and can carry more cargo but cost a bit more than $1,000 for a decent one.
The e-scooter advantage is its portability (grab-&-go) and can be carried easier in the trunk of your car, or bus for hybrid transportation.
For whatever reason, I find myself using this scooter more, perhaps because it is more fun and convenient.
My ebike (Rad City 4) is in the garage and it is more of a process to take them out, whereas the scooter is next to the exit door, indoors, so is really nice to just grab it and go.
My grocery store is just 4min away with it so I'm always looking forward to go shopping lol, but is limited to what can fit in my backpack. If it is raining then its the car for sure.
The ebike advantage is that it can still work once the battery is depleted, whereas with the scooter you are stuck, but that rarely has happened to me
The best you can do for your car and your pocket is get one of these and use it for short range needs (about 5-10 miles radius max from home).
That is what I do and have saved lots of money in gas and car maintenance.
Just repairing a car transmission can be twice the price of a high quality scooter like this. Well worth it.
