My go to mits, paid a dollar more 2 yrs ago. I like them a lot more than fabric as they are easy to rinse off.

Absolutely love these, best oven mitts I've ever had even for taking cast iron out of a 500 degree oven. Only problem is I haven't found a way to wash the fabric. The silicon wipes down fine but the fabric cuffs and insides get dirty still.

When mine get really dirty I just throw them in the washing machine with any load that's cool-warm water and hang them to dry. They've come out just fine.

In for a pair of the Milkshake color. I burned my hand using my parent's oven mitt a couple months ago. Mom told me 'yeah, you have to be careful with that' so they're getting a new set. Reviews make these seem like a good pair.

I have big silicon oven mitts that are from the bbq smoker section. They work great, but I bet mom would find the look of them a bit much. These should bring that functionality into a more acceptable visual design.

Good to know, I'll try that with my current set before I break these new ones out. Didn't want to do it and then wind up with no oven mitts and realize it was dinner time or something.
