That is an insane deal only downside imo is the 1000r curve. I prefer the curve but can't really complain for that Costco price

I'd never go back to 1800r after having 1000r.

This is only 144Hz for the Costco deal, If your Okay with a low refresh rate or if you are strictly using this work than go for it. I have the 244Hz and I think this is too slow with most monitors doing over 480Hz
In no world is 144Hz a low refresh rate, and most monitors are definitely not doing 480Hz.

I genuinely can't tell if this is rage bait or not.

480Hz is not bad in 2025, but for future proofing you really want to invest into 960Hz or higher especially if you're already spending $800+ on a monitor.

Most monitors with that high refresh are either 1080p and/or cost over a grand...

you'll need a very powerful PC to take advantage of those refresh rates

Yea it's 1800r but I prefer 1000 since I'm gonna be using this for sim racing, but I got the Costco one since it is oled so it would be more fun to play imo.

Gotcha. "Downside being 1000R" confused me.

I chose the 1000R years ago for sim racing, more I think about it, I don't really pan the way I thought I would being exclusively used for sim racing.
