Pretty sure the one from Costco isn't an OLED, so it's not exactly apples to apples.

It is QDOLED

Mainly it's the lower refresh and doesn't have the smart features.

Just FYI, QD-OLED isn't OLED. It's one of Samsung's technology gimmicks to avoid paying LG licensing fees for their OLED technology.
So what is it? What technology is the screen?

I have a love hate relationship with this monitor. It's totally gimped by the Smart TV bullshit built into it. It's a gorgeous OLED screen. I actually now use it as a secondary screen, and have not had any burn in issues after 18 months of having a static discord panel and/or my azeron software panel on it.

Are LG's G3-G4 TVs not OLED because they use an MLA filter on top of the OLED panel? Just like the QD layer is on top of the OLED Panel?

No smart feature is a good thing. I returned my Samsung oled because of this genius innovation.

You are highly incorrect here. Please stop with your false narrative. QD OLED is quantum dot OLED, which is Samsung's proprietary OLED display technology that makes colors more vivid. LG's OLED technology is known as WOLED, which uses an additional white subpixel in addition to RGB. This has the effect of preserving the materials life, but isn't as vivid as QD.
More explanation can be found here: https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/q...%20changed.
Short story: QD-OLED is OLED.
