Bought a different brand of 100w GAN to replace the standard charging brick for my laptop. Lasted a couple of months, then died. Have others have good experience with these delivering at close to their max over the long term?

The question is which brand? I have a 65W one from baseus which has worked reliably for over 3 years now.

It all depends on the brand and the factory grade they paid for.

They won't, it's not heavy it's most empty space for cooling as advanced charges generate heat

Great price. Just note that if you connect another device to either the C2 or A port, then the C1 port (for laptop charging) drops down to 45W. If you have a ThinkPad X1 like me, then the laptop will be constantly connecting/disconnecting.
