$250 manufacturer's savings is valid 7/21/25 through 8/10/25. While supplies last. Limit 5 per member.

It says it will charge shipping, but that seems to only be to specific locations. Free shipping to most US locations.

This is $300 less than the current price at ASUS. The only place it seems to be cheaper (by $100) is in store at a few remaining Microcenter locations.

Pen sold separately no matter where you buy it.

I'm considering this. Does anyone have thoughts on this deal?

Shitty Intel CPU kills it. Low-performance, high heat and high battery usage.

Absolutely not true. Solid performance and great heat and long battery. You're either mistaking this for a different cpu or just threadcrapping on anything intel.

Benchmarks for this processor are not great, chips from 2020 can match it: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu....tra+7+258V

4lbs is a bit heavy for my liking. Decent specs though for price given inflation and such these day. 3K 120hz touchscreen oled is what you are really paying for in this laptop.

It true and untrue, its a relative to what you comparing to.
Comparing Apple M series and X Elite are better ARM efficient cores as low as 11 watts. So low energy its in mobile tablets and mini 5 watt version of soc are in phones. 258v average is 17 watts.
Compared against horrible Intel 13th gen, it untrue.
258v is close to 4 yr old M1 & M2, not M4.
155h/255h are twice the cpu speed at 24 watts , has 15-20 hr battery vs 24 hr on 258v with massive 75 wHr battery. Both use LE core island cuz 86x is so bad.
Ebay has better deals on Lunar Lake & Meteor lake laptops
$700 258v 32/1 fhd IPS 450 nits 90% sRGB
$500-1300 155h/185h Fhd/qhd IPS/OLED Nvidia GPU
