Given that Eveready is a battery company, already, and falls under the Energizer parent company -- seems likely that these are made by a dedicated Eveready supplier (probably in China).

I read a few years back that the name brand batteries made for the Chinese market are not near the quality made for the US market.

For this price, I imagine they are made to be sold in China.
