Seconded, motion sensor would have made it to last much longer
1. They can easily be unmounted to recharge.
2. When they go dead, you can pull them out of the magnetic socket and plug them in with the included cable.
3. The magnetic base holds the light firmly while allowing a large degree of articulation. They easily pull off and snap back on. This means they can be easily taken down to plug in to recharge.
