For those of you with MacBooks and a monitor with greater than 60hz. MacOS has an issue of automatically increasing to the max refresh rate when the laptop lid is closed even though the dock doesn't support it. Only workaround is to Remote Desktop from another Mac and change the refresh rate when the laptop lid is closed
Be aware there are different versions of this dock. While they might look identical… there is a version that supports DisplayLink, indicated by the text on front of the dock. This does not have that.
