This competes against the 5060 Ti, right? Is it better?

Same Core Clock (1900 MHz), Game Clock (2780) and Boost Clock (3320 MHz), so only real difference is larger radiator and extra fan, which should equal a little better cooling.

Keep measurements in mind in what will fit in you rig, as XFX cards are on the bigger dimensions.

I got the three fan as it was only $10 more at the time when I bought it.

Pulled my hair out a lot watching reviews...5060ti is better in general hence the price.

...better performance per watt, better undervolting, dlss is supported in more games, etc...You should look at the 5060ti's features but I'm guessing you don't need them since you're considering amd.

50 series gpu drivers had been buggy that a youtuber was forced to use amd for work because it was stable despite nvidia been faster.

They are close, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference. On the relative performance chart on Techpowerup It shows the 5060 Ti being only 5% faster. The difference in price right now is $70, so being that they perform similarly, I think the decision would be up to the person on whether or not they think the wider adoption of DLSS4 presently in games and multi-frame generation that Nvidia offers is worth the money. The FSR4 upscaling that this card uses is also good, and I'm sure it'll be widely adopted soon enough, If I was buying in this class, it would be a tough choice but I don't think you could go wrong with either.

2 fans are usually bigger fan so run slower and are more quiet, but 3 fan tends to handle overclocking better with larger radiator and extra fan, if you don't care for space or noise. Price to performance this is better to 5060 Ti 16gb, that is $80 more (msrp) and about 5% better overall.

They're very close in raw graphical performance. 5060 wins on AI features, 9060 wins on price

60%+ faster, Id say so. 8gb of vram just doesnt cut it anymore, even at 1080p.

Sell the 2070 for $225 and you have a pretty good deal Replaced a 7600 with a Pulse variant, its a very noticeable upgrade.

Thanks I will wait for the 3 fans drop to this price. The 5060 it is just not that good of a price for me.

XFX is probably the best GFX card company you can buy an AMD card from, and I would pick this up over a 5060TI any day of the week if I was looking for a good entry/middle of the pack card.

Tom's Hardware [tomshardware.com] and Gamers Nexus [youtube.com] do very good work with PC component benchmarks, reviews, etc.

This card is not "better", but very close in performance depending on the game AND cheaper. Do with that information what you will.

I don't think anyone will buy the 2070 for $225 given eBay sold auction values, but thanks Smilie

Note I'm referring to 5060 Ti, not 5060. 5060 only comes in 8GB variant for $300; compared to 9060 XT 8GB for $300 or 16GB for $350 (all prices are MSRP there will likely be markups if they are in demand). I'd still suggest best price/performance for budget builds with 9060 Xt 16GB at $350, and if gaming, don't even consider 8GB
