Depending on device it can last 5x.
Your buying these for hard to reach installation, dooms day prepping or max power to weight like hiking to Everest. Everything else, get rechargeables.

Rechargeable are 1.2v and only work well in very limited situations you don't want the extra torque/voltage

There are many lithium chemistry 1.5V regulated AAs on Amazon…Tenevolt has been around a while and I've used them and they work well.
Just query rechargeable lithium AA on Amazon.

What do you charge them with? I've only had the tenevolt ones and their own little charger is super slow and they always read out 1.54v on my voltmeter so using a normal charger doesnt work. I got some powerowls on prime day and half of them read 0.00v and the included charger only charges some of them on certain charge slots. Very annoying and not impressing me for the price. But the tenevolts are crazy expensive

Lithium batteries typically will no leak, they hold a steady 1.5V until they are exhausted. Alkaline batteries tend to leak over time, and slowly lose voltage.

These read close to 1.9v on my voltmeter.

Are these batteries worth more than twice the cost of a Duracell copper top or an energizer max? Do they last at least twice as long? If not, what's the value proposition?

Yes, they do last long. They're especially useful when your device is mounted up high. It's the difference between climbing a ladder twice a year to change these or monthly for regular batteries. Well worth this price and I don't think I've ever seen them go on sale. I usually pay $20 or $25 for a pack of 10

Huh, the post below says you have 1.5 lithiums? I have 2 sets of lithiums and i use them where voltage matters.

LSD are great in many situations that don't need 1.5 volts.

If you want torque, get ni-cds. I have them for my remote control cars. Lower capacity, but if you need to dump amps, They drain quick.

I've got tenavolts that have a buck converter to keep constant 1.54v. I've got Powerowls now that go crazy on the voltmeter from 1.4v to 1.6v somehow. I've got energizer non rechargeable that read 1.86-1.9v new. What are you asking about?
Nicd are 1.2v afaik but get memory and have limited cycles. I use NiMH 1.2v for my wife's numerous fake candles where voltage isn't important and would drain your wallet keeping them stocked. But for basically anything else I'm on some form of Li now. Just need some cheaper entry rechargable. The powerowls are not doing well with their included charger. Only certain ports will charge certain cells. Very strange experience so far

this is home depot but in general any company is offering a subscription is a trade of convenience (not having to remember to reorder products you use regularly) over price.

that being said you can generally just cancel the subscription after it ships

Has anyone received this order yet? I ordered two 16 pack deals and the package I received seems too light to contain 32 AA batteries. Don't want open in case it's a short ship or mistake. Maybe I'll take the package to the store and open at the service desk just in case.

You realize Lithiums are lighter than Alkalines, so...
