Milk switches sound more marbly/thocky with a deeper sound profile while Panda switches sound more ASMR-y with a higher sound profile.

back in my days you either get a cherry blue or if you live with a significant other you get a cherry brown. what does pandas have to do with it?

why are there creamy switches and dry switches and why do i have to buy milk first? and whatever ASMR switches are

the answer is because things change. there are many more options than there used to be because there's more people interested who want more options and companies in turn produce even more than is wanted.
probably almost a universal response to statements that start with "back in my days". it isn't those days anymore and that's fine. you can engage with the new stuff or not; nobody is forcing you to. you're still able to get (more) good classic options

It's just a cute name. At first, it might be hard to understand, but after all, it's just a label.
