Took me awhile to figure out how to submit for the rebate card.
After you activate, you go to

https://promotions.t-mobile.com/, click start a new submission. Select your phone number for the T-Mobile Gateway and hit the optional Promo Code option, it is 250395. Fill out the information and then after ~10 weeks you get the gift card via text/email.

Affirmative. Hopefully they'll make the same mistake with a primary conductor soon and the problem will work itself out naturally.

I got this exact promotion for the rely plan and modem starting June 16. Works well except for having to reconnect my fire stick to the Wi-Fi literally every single time I turn my TV on. I've tried everything and it will not stay connected. Still have not received my $200 gift card however it has only been 6 weeks. The speed is good for my area. If you don't set up auto pay right when you order service they will not give you the auto-pay discount on your first bill, even if you sign up for it before the bill hits. Not especially crazy about their customer service but for $40 a month it's decent. Update: got my $200 rebate card for the rely plan after 8 weeks.

wondering whats the speed difference between the Rely and All-in plan is
All the same speed, it's highly dependent on location. I'm less than half a mile from the tower and I'm usually getting 1200 Mbps on the $50 plan on the newer G5AR gateway.

I was sick of Spectrum internet and gave T-mobile a try. Unusable at 6mb download speeds. Got rid of it within a day. Beware.
Depends on your location, I'm getting 1200 Mbps regularly on the newer G5AR gateway on the rely plan for $50 a month.

That's because it's likely not powered on its own and just by the tv. If you get a separate power source it will remain connected. Also check your tv settings to make sure it doesn't power off usb when it turns off. It has nothing to do with the T-Mobile.

I pay $35/month Xfinity for 400 Mbps. Max 5 devices streaming at a time without any problem and reliable service in my area. Genuinely curious if there's any benefit to switching to a T-Mo plan. Any insight?

can you move the device to other locations (like on vacation and stuff) and plug it in and have it work?

we returned ours. horribly inconsistent speeds. one time it would have 500mbps, another it would go down to 30. Ping was all over the place too, 40-120. sent the unit back and called Xfinity and they gave us a $35 discount and upgraded our modem for free. just did a speed test on the new xfinity modem and I'm getting 800mbps.

How far is the tower from your house?

Do you have a TV right next to the unit (or another router)

Is it near a window on the 2nd floor if you have the high.

I can see the tower from my house about 2 blocks away. (I cant see russia though)

I lives near the tower too, Im about a block away from the center from what I saw on the app. I tried placing it in different points in my home, all near the window. I am on a 2nd story. I tried so many things, searched the subreddit for Tmobile internet for suggestions, before I gave up. What mainly drove me away from it was the noticeably slower playback speed on YouTube/streaming apps.

Ok, but how much is the actual plan? That might be useful information.
it's all in there if you read. 50,60 and 70 starting from lowest to highest. If you have T-Mobile phone lines then take another $15 off so it would be 35,45,55

Did you try testing this by running it directly from ethernet cable connected to the unit?

Has anyone gotten their promo card? I submitted it twice and never got a text/e-mail. It's been 3-4 months now.
