I saw this exact Peloton in barely used condition for $100 on Facebook Marketplace in my town. Even came with a new pair of Peloton shoes. People who bought during the covid are dumping these for cheap.

I know a lifehack is to always set your fb marketplace to a wealthy area of town and see what's available for cheap.

What can be done with the screen on these without paying for their subscription? If nothing, can they be hacked to run a different/custom OS?

You can do the "just ride" scenic rides, a few of them, not all. Not sure if you can hack it.
I've had mine since pandemic and still use it. It's a great fitness option the whole family can use for $44. They have many workouts that are off the bike. Strength training, yoga etc.

I've had mine since the pandemic as well and it's a great investment into health in my opinion. The rides are great, the stretching and strength workouts are nice, and I've been using the outdoor activities on the app now that it's warm outside. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

No way that would be real. A cheap used bike would go for $500-$700.

There's no way this is true.

It was legit. I responded and was second in line but the first person obviously followed through with picking it up. I live in Silicon Valley, you should see the stuff rich housewives practically give away to free up space in their homes.

I would never pay this much for these type of bikes, there are similar bikes for way cheaper on amazon or temu that come from China at a fraction of the price.

People just dont want to believe it cause they never took the time to check or try for it. I have bought plenty of extremely expensive workout equipment on craigslist and offerup. A stationary bike that was $400 for $50, a $800 treadmill for $100, weights for as cheap as $5. I didnt get it but there was even a hot tub fully functional if you just hauled it away...

People dont understand that once someone got their use out of an item, sometimes they just want it gone, so they will price low to see it go ASAP.

Likely a scam, there are tons of them. I just got a used bike plus and had to sort through a ton of scams.
