Yikes, good call. Only 54 pieces. For comparison the little bagged sets that Target carries for $7.50 and often drop to $5 have more than 70 pieces.
Smaller set, triple price because it includes a mildly informative book. It's very pretty and I'd snap it up if it were cheaper.

No, it is real Lego, but is one of those book + build produced gift sets, which is why it is listed on Amazon/Walmart/Target under hardcovers and has no set number.

Wow you're right; it's TINY!
Even with the book, no one should be asking over $9.99 for this item.
Imagine someone in, say, Tennessee, they're going to work over 2 hours just to pay for this.

"When I first received them I thought they were fake/ripoff Lego sets but they are in fact real. Apparently these were authorized for another manufacturer who does the books for Lego normally. Once built they are quite adorable and look great! Don't hesitate to pick up the mini-botanical sets."

While I don't own this set, my kid has received a couple of the publisher's other books, and the bricks inside are Lego stamped.

These are like the Klutz/Scholastic Lego books. Not created/distributed by Lego but a collaboration with publishers, primarily sold in bookstores.
FYI, AMEET has another Botanical set currently on sale at Amazon for $16 (again very nice, but not worth the cost IMO):
