Was shared back in January and at that time, the participating locations were only Denver, Phoenix, Portland and Sacramento lol

Ya'll remember when the Tavern Double was $6.99? It wasn't even that long ago. But today, this is a good deal. I think at Five Guys you're only getting a burger (without cheese) for $10+

Ya'll remember when the Tavern Double was $6.99? It wasn't even that long ago. But today, this is a good deal. I think at Five Guys you're only getting a burger (without cheese) for $10+

I haven't gone there enough to know/remember that. I have however gone enough to know if you ask for more fries, it takes them 10 minutes (when it's not busy), and they taste awful.

Go online and price out your entire meal before you go. This will give you a pretty good idea of what the total will be for all the food that you intend to buy here. It's absolutely crazy what the total comes out to. I added an onion ring tower and a salad and drink for the wife, and a kid's meal. The total came out to $52 before tip.
It's just not that great of an experience there to merit the prices they charge normally per item. The burger from this special offer is categorized as one of their "tavern burgers" which is from their value menu. Smaller burgers, not that great.
As for the "bottomless" sides, it take forever for them to swing back with those. Almost like there's some kind of timeframe they give them to not bring them out so quickly.

I used to consider Red Robin a nice little sit-down restaurant like 10-15 years ago. But since then it's gone downhill. The burgers, bottomless fries, and sauces are decent, but overpriced without these deals....it's not uncommon to pay $20-25 a person.
