I've installed these before; works well and connects to google home. As a warning - these do add bulk and can be tough to stuff into wall.

How well do these work when it comes to reconnecting after a power outage? Do they reconnect by themselves or have to register them all over again?

FYI - doesn't look like these are Matter enabled.

That might "matter" to some people - it does for me since I'm having to replace all of my Wemo switches and Matter seems to be the best way to future proof as much as possible.

That's a pretty slick price. All my other tapo stuff has been working well. The cameras have been flawless after the fix for mesh wifi systems.

Mine have no problem reconnecting after a power outage - and if they do, there's a restart switch right under the paddle that can be pressed so they reboot. You'll want to make sure your WiFi is back up first.

Both Tapo and Kasa devices can be controlled in the Tapo app. Both product lines are of similar (good) quality IMO. I have them all added to Home Assistant and they integrate nicely.
