I ordered from them before, and for months, even though I followed all the opt out procedures, I was sent non stop spam daily from a long list of 3rd party companies about:-far right politics-campaign contributing scare tactic emails-massively overpriced ads for doomsday-prepper goods.-fear-based investing about economy collapseI do not use any of these services or products, and I never will. I just like collecting pocket knives, that's it.Never had anything like it happen in the 20 some plus years of using email.I can't believe these emails work, nobody's that dumb, right??

That worked, thanks! $10.40 for D2 and a style that isn't wild. Great deal.

I have this knife and while D2 at $10.40 is a great deal, I dislike the design.

It's unergonomic to hold, and worse, the detent on my knife is weak and it's too easy to deploy.

It once partially deployed in my pocket. I reached in and stabbed myself.

Stopped carrying the knife after that. It's a good kitchen drawer knife you can keep around for opening packages, though.

Statgear is weird and most of their stuff while not terrible and looking semi good are way overpriced at regular price. This is a $20 knife at most so plug that into your decision. You may find quirks or downsides with the Statgear that you are not thrilled with. I don't have the walmart one as yet but I imagine fit and fish on the Statgear is going to be better and is it will be a slicker looking package overall but I think it is a tossup. Here is review of it and the guy kind of comes in where I have been with the Stagear stuff I have tried.

I have both this knife and the "Walmart one". As for which is better, I'd say its mostly personal preference, based on the obvious differences (i.e. liner lock vs. cross bar lock, G10 scales vs injection molded, reverse tanto vs drop point, 5.4 oz vs 2.7 oz.) The action on both is fine. Pick the one that best suits your desires. I agree its probably worth $20, so for $12 or less its a good deal, assuming your expectations are in line with the price. I'm not sure you can get a much better knife for $12. For $25 you can get a much better knife, but that's not a fair comparison.
