JUST BUY THIS AT MICROCENTER for 450 ... lol its cheaper too. Shopexchange and military.... commmonnn now, open this to the general public....
Microcenter isn't available to many people, and they don't ship. With sales tax in most states, this one is very likely cheaper than one from any micro center.

Why would they open a military marketplace to the general public? It's a literal perk of serving.

How is this deal not on the FP? Oh that's right, a lot of people here like downvoting military only deals because they can't get it. This would be FP with hundreds of upvotes if it was amazon, apple, etc.

Dumb question, so go easy on me: how does this do with steam gaming; older titles, such as Civ 5/6, Fallout 4, etc. my current 10+ yo W10 rig with an i7 920 and 1070 ti is getting long in the tooth and I wouldn't mind dipping my toes in the Mac waters, so to speak. I also just read that Steam is running natively on Mac silicon, though I'm not 100% sure how important that is. Any info would be appreciated.

For reference, what was the lowest price ever? I know we've seen $450. I thought it was $400 once but search didn't bring it up.

If the game isn't native to Mac, you can use Crossover to play many of them. Search the game title here: https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility . Crossover goes on sale for around 50% off during Black Friday. For reference, Cyberpunk 2077 just released a mac-native version and it plays fine on this base Mac Mini.

With the MacBook Air 13" M4 as low as $700. You're better off buying the Air unless you really need a desktop. The price difference is $250 and when you add a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, you're either at or over $700.
