The 990D is much better value. The 990F really has a better subwoofer and some other optimization but for 40% more its not worth it lol

If you have a Prime Visa card, the 5% Cash Back works on Woot. Then, you can get 10% CB from certain other CB sites putting the 990F at around $850.For $150 more and no need for EPP, I went with the 990F. I got the LG S90TR free from an LG Partner deal last year, and it's ok. I can't get it dialed in and sounding good consistently. Hoping the 990F is a big improvement.

Given that LG soundbars are dogshit and always have been, this will be.

Only if you qualify for the discount on the 990D. Not everyone does.

I registered at the county college for an online class I wanted to take. They give a legit email address for students and it qualifies in their program.

You can also test a fictitious email on the Samsung site to see if that particular school participates in the program. I suppose if someone really wanted they could sign up for classes and cancel them after getting the email.

I have both the 990d and the arc ultra (bar only). Both are PHENOMENAL. I like the arc ultra more though, the sound is just better imo but the 990d excels. Playing silent hill 2 remake is horrifying on the 990d
