IIRC the original version of this case got hammered in reviews for poor thermals - looks like this V2 version addressed that with a freer flowing front panel? I believe the original version had an acrylic side panel versus the glass on this one. Looks like a decent value for a budget or spare parts build.

I have my spare desktops built in this v1 case - it's cheap, dependable, and light. It's $40 - should level set expectations on performance

I believe this is the model where the actual holes for airflow are really tiny but the magnetic covers give you the illusion that they're big. I'm thinking of buying it and manually drilling the holes larger.

I have this case and love it. I'm also well aware this isn't a case for people pushing super hot GPU and CPU. If you are running a budget system i can't see a better value. I also added a fan to the front event tho it wasnt needed at all i just felt like it. case is super light and easy to work with. idk what the V2 gives here but if i were to need a new case i'd probably grab this one again

Good case for entry level hardware. The airflow is it's biggest weakpoint. The dust filter just has a circular pattern on it to make it look like there is bigger holes for airflow but its the same as the previous version of the case. Maybe you could get by with mid range hardware if you dont mind higher temps

Built my pc with this case not to long ago paid $50 ish? so 40 is a good deal. it was my first build, personally i didnt like the look of the case but it def grew on me.
Space inside case - Pretty tight (i used a peerless assassin 120 air cooler) and hard time getting things connected for a 1st time builder but totally possible. i used a screwdriver with a flexible extension piece for some hard to reach areas. also had a hard time trouble shooting, needed to use a long screwdriver to release my GPU.
Thermals - 9700x with a 9070xt, thermals are all good. (the room my pc is in is abnormally hot, usually around 85 to 90 deg during the summer)
Issues - had some trouble getting the USB C cable plugged into my Mobo, but that's pure user error lol
PSU Clearance - PSU i used was 160mm (which is the max and i was concerned it wouldn't fit) fit perfect and had no issues didn't feel like it was hard to install.
If its your first build expect some minor difficulties with space inside the case, but totally possible. use a AIO and it will prob be easier.

I own this and can say its great if you're on a really tight budget. Outside of that it's low quality and cooling will suffer. Switch to a Fractal case and got significantly better temps with identical fans/cooler setup. More importantly, it doesn't remind me I cheaped out every time I touch the power button.

I've got a system built in the v1 version of this case for my son. The v2 has a different pattern printed on the filter but doesn't seem to actually improve the ventilation any. The biggest difference I see offhand is the location of the I/O. On the V1 it's on the side that has the removable panel. You can relocate it to be at different spots such as the top middle or the middle of the front. The v2 puts the I/O on the angled top front edge and adds a USB-C port.

The v1 case seems to do fine for my son's system but it's only a 2070 Super and an i7-9700f so not particularly power hungry by today's standards.

I have this case for my son. Even after removing the dust covers, it still runs hot. I had to keep the window off for sufficient cooling. This is even after having 3 120mm fans and a 240 aio cooling a 6600 gpu and AMD 5600x.
