Dang, great price! 50-75L is too big for my needs. Wish the smaller covers are also on sale.

If it is too big, I wonder if a rubber band just be tied around a bottom part to make it smaller? like a ponytail

Cool. Was tired of using a trash bag.

I got bright neon yellow a few years ago. I used it for bike commuting and visibility (so year round). It's transparent enough where my blinky light on backpack still shows a bit through. Can't speak to water proof.. only been in light rain on bike.

The elastic still wraps around my smaller osprey okay and won't fall off. You def may want to tie the excess to keep it flapping in the wind. Mine has an attached storage pouch.

I'd buy again if I needed one.

I grabbed one for a pack I already have, but a trash bag inside the bag works fine. or you put stuff in different dry bags then inside the bag.

Some other good stuff in Osprey's sale area. They always sucker me in with stuff like $5.50 ball caps. Their hydration packs and daypacks are tops, too. Never pay full price!

So stupid in general if you know anything about backpacking, just use an internal dry bag or even just a trash bag/mylar/turkey bag??

I saw this a few weeks back and opted instead for the $20 North Face one because it uses a drawstring instead of elastic. Felt like there was too much opportunity while hiking or biking for the elastic to slip off one of the corners with these types.
