$712 for me. There is a 15% coupon. I'd rather spend more and get either a mini led or OLED (from Samsung or LG) but they seem to be twisting my arm.

Curious why you would want to spend 1200 on an 85" TCL when you can get the Samsung qn90 for about the same?

1: Where are you seeing an 85" Q90 for $1,200?

2: The TCL 8 Series (QM8, QM8K, etc) are objectively better TV's than Samsung's Q90. They beat the Q90 in nearly every metric, even if they're only slightly better in some.

The price of this is bouncing up and down. I looked at this earlier this morning, $1097. This afternoon dropped back to $837. A few hours later is back to $1097. Pulled the trigger on this this afternoon when it dropped to $837. Seemed to be the best balance between size and picture with local dimming. I was debating between a 75" mini-LED vs this which are about the same price. The size difference between 85" and 75" does appear much bigger in person as my wife today shopping at Costco for the first time in her life said go with the big TV.
