Not in bios, But it was in the recovery partition, so if you used that to recover, It came back.

They simply used a corrupted Windows installation ISO from a supplier that had been infected (probably downloaded from a sketchy torrent).
You people blow it out of proportion because talking down Chinese companies is low-hanging fruit.
These Chinese companies make so many models and share software with other companies. It's all designed to save money where they can.
If you are worried about bios level issues, it's best to stay away from most mini PCs. They rarely get bios updates to fix them.

But, when you install the os, try to get all your drivers from the original source rather than the Chinese manufacturer.
I did that with a bosgame mini PC recently. All the drivers I used came from Microsoft or AMD. Still haven't checked to see if sound works though (not that I really care for my purpose)
