This is better. The early models like Mystic Blue, with the white pickup covers, are unshielded and have notorious noise issues. I'm still holding out for a V personally. Eventually they'll *have* to do a sale on those.... right?
I think the 5-string was on sale from Franklin Guitar Works around this time last year
I tried one briefly at GC last year. I'm a guitar player (kind of), and I was really impressed with this bass because it really is a perfect all around instrument for any genre. There's so many sounds on tap with the twist of the knobs. It plays and looks great too.
I just purchased, so thank you OP. What I dont understand is, when I click on the link it shows me the sale price ($499) and I can check out. But if I go back a "page" to Chavrel bass guitars" and it shows the list of available basses....this same guitar is listed not on sale at $999. I added it to my cart and the price remained "not on sale". Is there some embedded coupon code with the link? I ask because I wanted to check out other colors to see if they were on sale but everything came up full price (including the black guitar))? Again i just purchased it on sale for $499 with the link....just trying to figure out what is happening (using a PC not mobile).

I just added it to my cart using the link from the OP, $499 as advertised. I'm using Chrome, maybe try another browser?

Thanks, I was able to get the sale price in my first reply. Would you mind testing my issue on your side? Go to the deal (see the price of $499) but at the top of the page go back a section to "bass guitars" (it says: musical instruments>guitars>bass guitars>charvel bass guitars) and the same bass guitar that was $499 now shows at full price and the price doesn't change after adding to cart. Not sure why that is.

Check out the link from the deal button - it has a section "&emailprice=t". When you back up and find the bass again, that section is no longer part of the URL. Add that in at the end, and you will see the sale price. That's how I look for deals on Adorama
