It'll take a really long time being that this is 1 amp. Don't be surprised if it's 24 hours. It's not really a great car charger. It's a better battery maintainer but it'll work.
Scored the $21 deal on this 9 months ago, put it on a motorcycle battery for the winter. The Noco died in spring after only five months use.
Older Noco (same model) doing the same job, and even plugged into the same box, still works great (after some years). Makes me wonder if there's something wrong with these discounted batches.
Warranty is good -- and Noco did replace the bad one -- but shipping was nearly $10 so the sale discount turned out to be less than worthless.
EDIT
Should also mention the replacement was a refurb with same date of mfr, which means no 'Sorry our defective product caused you grief' warranty extension.
Instead, they're apparently hanging on, hoping the second unit will just get beyond the original warranty period so they can be off the hook.
I bought one few months ago.
2007 Mercedes E320 battery died so I just remembered I had it on the garage. Just plugged it in.
Lets see how long it will take.

The title is missing an important info. This is 1A. If your battery is 12V, the best rate of charge is 12W per hour (actual is less due to loss in cables).
Use this for trickle charge (battery maintenance) only, not quite suitable as regular charger.

Can it perform jump starts too? Or just work as slow charger?
I just looked at my portable car charger like this and mine says it jumpstarts at 500A, so if what the comments are saying are true, I would get a different one. This makes a great graduation gift for seniors IMO. I use mine regularly. As long as I charge it after I jump the car, it works within a few minutes.

These are better than a 20 year old battery tender. They use far less idle watts. But I was one of their earlier customers and I'm irked they charge so much for adapters. Motorcycle connector adapter is $20, and if you want to require to use noco connector it's just as expensive. So you're paying close to $60 to charge a motorcycle . The newer Battery Tender brands are better
