Curious what those were more smarter than me on this stuff and think of this deal. I'm always worried about a refurbished computer.

no need to. Electronics seldomly fail if not failed for the first couple of days.

Ive bought I think 6 refurb laptops (plus 2 apples), so far any that arrived working are still working.
(4 thinkpads, 2 HP elitebooks)

Old p53 I gave to my nephew is still kicking and he isnt light on it

fully agree, long as its from a good vendor and arrives working, you are generally good to go

I bought my first refurbished laptop. I was skeptical using one because of reliability and also I'm a little germaphobic. But then I remember I travel and have been forced to put laptops in bins that have had nasty footwear put in them and I've had to use work laptops that were often used by another person before me. Clorox wipes or alcohol eased that tension. I don't know what kind of laptop this is but most enterprise or corporate gear is professionally refurbished which means they replace any broken parts, clean them well, and inspect them before reselling them. You can get more durable, longer lasting equipment for consumer prices.

Anyone got experience with trying to get these Snapdragon chips to work with Brother Printers? Brother's website seems to indicate it doesn't work and they don't seem very enthusiastic about adding support.
