It's doubtful that there's a meaningful enough performance difference between the two for that to be your deciding factor (they may even be built around the same internal pump).

If you don't already have a bunch of Craftsman or Bauer tools/batteries, you're better off pulling up each lineup's tools and seeing who covers the other stuff you'll want. Or step up to Hercules line for a bit better performance and warranty.

I had bought this to add to my complement of craftsman v20 tools. The vacuum is much better for cleaning out your car than their Dustbuster vacuum. Tire pump is 10/10 and fast.
