Same fan but different name at Menards for $9 before 11%.

It's a decent fan. Moves alright air and is reasonably quiet. I used it for white noise while sleeping.
Notes about it:
-The speed knob is great, its first click is low instead of needing to crank it clockwise 3 notches for low.
-It has a small amount of high pitch whine to it. It's there but not. Maybe i just don't notice it sometimes.
-The feet on it are useless. They have zero grip. It doesn't blow itself across a smooth surface but just bumping it will absolutely reposition it. I ended up cutting 3 small chunks of silicone I had and screwed it in the groves of the feet.

Nice size fans. I had some exactly like that but were dual 18650 battery powered. I miss them so much. They were perfect for power outages.

Bought two of these a month ago for the same price. I use it garage on high, it moves good air for the size, it is quite loud. I wouldn't suggest this for living room or anything nice looking, but garage is fine. Do note, it is small at 9".

Just ordered four to be shipped. Accidentally ordered the four pack as I wasn't sure how a refund would work if only one of them went bad. Looking to strategically place these throughout the house in certain windows in order to exhaust or intake hot or cold air. Hopefully they are strong enough to create some kind of pressure and cycle the air in and out. I have a larger 20" fan to do the majority of the flow in or out. I'll see. Summer seems to last all the way through November.

Have you considered using inline fans for this? Hard to achieve what you want without sealing the fan in the window. This is easy to do with inline fans (just cut some circles in plywood or acrylic, mount the fans or ducts to the fan, and seal it in the window).

I just bought this 8" rechargeable fan from Walmart for $15.95 with free s/h (without needing to meet the $35 minimum). Everyone else is selling it for $24+. Claims to have a 10,000mAh battery which lasts 12h on high and 65hrs on low. Also has a light, oscillation and a remote control.

The page I bought from has no reviews but you can look at the reviews from other sellers.

It's coming next week. Unfortunately, I just realized that it will probably be returned. It just occurred to me that since it oscillates, I probably won't be able to clip it vertically, even with oscillation off. I need a fan that can clip to the side of a shelf. Oh well, it looks like a great fan.

Hey, Thank you so very much. I really appreciate it.
I'll try to order a couple when back in stock and check them out. It's hurricane season so these are extremely handy....plus other uses. Cheers and thanks again!

No man, go for the Menard's MASTER FORCE 20".
I have two of those bad boys cranking, but they're not quiet, lol.

Got it a few days ago. LOVE it. Best purchase I made all year. Really powerful. And it has a unique Natural Wind mode that repeatedly turns the motor on 4 secs then off 1 second. Not only is it refreshing but it also uses less electricity. The fan also has a 360° rotation that I've never seen before. Might be nice in the center of the dinner table. And yes! it can be mounted vertically.
