So, you basically need a 20A household circuit to safely run this continuously on the high setting since it would be maxing out a 15A circuit, even if it were dedicated? I'm a little suspicious of them advertising the cord as UL approved, but not the motor/element itself.

The nozzles are a nice bonus compared to HF, but the 1500W Warrior regularly gets a $10 coupon and can be run on high without overloading a 15A circuit.

I agree that a 20A circuit would be best. 15A would be overloaded with this tool (~15.4A at 120VAC), and definitely a no go on high setting. I prefer not to run my circuits at max capacity to protect outlets, wiring, and breakers.

I have an 8 year iold Wagner 1200W heat gun in my workshop and it meets all my needs.

Yep! A 15A circuit should only run about 13A sustained for safety reasons. I've got the 1500W from Harbor Freight (on 20A circuits) and it has no problems peeling paint or loosening adhesives, even on the 750W setting—it just takes a little longer.

Hopefully people who get in on this deal don't feel duped if it trips their breakers!
