I used Targus packs for about 20 years of student/grad student/faculty work. When one wore out, I sent it in under the lifetime guarantee. I was able to do that twice before the pack I was using was effectively discontinued (still, 2 packs for 20 years isn't bad). Targus definitely aren't as comfy or nice feeling as a North Face or Osprey, but they did right by me.

I thought it looked like one of those cheap bags you'd find at Walmart—and turns out, it actually is! Bingo.

Had this backpack for a few years. It's very light and very functional. I took it on a few business trips as well. It's a good value for $20.

Same backpack I used in college 20 years ago.
They even still have the little headphone hole for your CD player

I have a Targus. For 20 bucks this is a steal and despite one of the comments, definitely doesn't qualify as a "Walmart cheapie". My assessment? Well made and durable.

I had this bag since 2017. It was from my previous company. At first I complained how cheap it was and did not have company logo. Turned out, it was probably the best backpack I ever had. It is super light and capable/durable. I still use it for my personal trip.

Targus makes great backpacks. I've had this one for a few years and it's rock solid. Great deal on this.
